Location: Agnes Scott College, Campbell Hall Classroom G-15
Travel information: The Agnes Scott campus is a short walk (or ride on MARTA bus 823) from the MARTA Decatur station. View a campus map with Campbell Hall marked here. Faculty Talk: Patterns in Recursively Defined Sequences Dr. Alan Koch, Agnes Scott College
Undergraduate Student Talk: The Mathematics of Elections and Voting Naya Welcher, Spelman College
Undergraduate Student Talk: Hyperparasites: Nature’s Equilibrator Amy Sims, Georgia State University
… as well as a presentation on mathematics research at Agnes Scott. As a special December treat, we’ll also have some yummy hot cocoa and toppings, plus extra info on REUs and mathematics opportunities in Atlanta for undergraduate students. Bring your friends-- we hope to see you there!
